Developing larger scale work on studio residency
Progress on my studio residency at AHH Studio Collective is going well. One of the aims of the residency is to explore making larger scale works to enable a more active experience of the drawings.
Through testing new drawing approaches and installation methods, unexpected ideas have emerged. While thinking about the impact of exterior light on interior spaces, I have been reflecting on how external factors such as online activities magnified by the impacts of the covid pandemic have blurred boundaries between our exterior and interior lives, as well as uncovering ideas around the exterior and interior of the drawing.
