Always Coming Back To The House
Video projection
Various dimensions
'And so she did: wandering up and down, and trying turn after turn, but always coming back to the house, do what she would.' - Lewis Carroll, 'Through the Looking Glass'
This project focused on the wallpapers at Goddards, the 1927 Arts and Crafts former family home of Noel Terry designed by local architect Walter Brierley. The exhibition comprised a video artwork projected onto the wall of one of the children's rooms alongside selected drawings and sketchbooks that explored the conversation between the house and garden.
Exhibited: 'Goddards Reimagined', March to June 2015
