Limen series

2025 to 26

Mixed media on paper on board
30 x 30 cm unframed

This project was inspired by an invitation from the Scott Creative Arts Foundation to artist collective SCAFFOLD to each make work in response to Eileen Scott’s painting 'Garden View 2'.

Focusing on elements from the painting and Scott's ideas on houses as a place of ‘comfort, safety and privacy’, work continued on the study of the slipping boundaries between our exterior and interior spaces, as we navigate the shifting tensions between our digital and private lives, particularly at home. These semi-abstract works mark fresh points of enquiry on the blurring of thresholds or points of transition between the public and private, the real and imagined.
