Limen showing at Contemporary Growth
January 2026
Next month, a selection of new drawings from the Limen series will be showing in a group exhibition comprising ten Yorkshire based contemporary artists. The project was inspired by an invitation from the Scott Creative Arts Foundation (SCAF) to artist collective SCAFFOLD to make work in response to Eileen Scott's painting 'Garden View 2'. This exhibition with SCAF at The Station will showcase the range of our individual responses.

Thresholds: New drawing series
September 2025
Work continues on a new drawing series, 'Thresholds'. Inspired by concrete reliefs found on an outside wall in Budapest that prompted thoughts on 'outside wallpaper', this body of work plays with ideas on the fluctuations between interior and exterior spaces.

Developing large-scale work
March 2025
Ahead of moving from my studio at AHH Studio Collective next month, work continues on a larger scale (300 x 250 cm approx) as part of the 'Rhythms of Restlessness' series.

Limen: New work for exhibition
November 2025
I have recently been working on another new drawing series, 'Limen', while developing the process of working multiple layers of dry material into paper by hand. Having spent the summer experimenting with different methods that mirror the stability of painting, I have devised an approach to present the drawings on board In preparation for exhibition early next year.

Finding inspiration
June 2025
This year, I have embraced the opportunity to travel more and soak up new experiences of art and architecture. As I look ahead to exhibitions next year, I’m noticing how elements from my travels are feeding into new work in the studio.

Working on a larger scale
January 2025
Continuing with my focus on developing new work in the studio, I have been experimenting with expanding approaches from my current drawing series 'Rhythms of Restlessness' to working on a larger scale.
