Sheltered Dreams series

2022 to 23

Two charcoal drawings on pergamenata paper, double sided freestanding frame
32 x 25 cm unframed

Alongside the larger scale studio work, ‘Dwelling’, this body of work is inspired by the impact of exterior light on interior spaces, questioning the shifting boundaries between our exterior and interior lives.

Focusing on responses to patterns of light, the work is informed by ideas on the value of home to fortify and nurture. Presenting the work in rhythms of light prompts conversations between the double sided drawings; aspects are revealed while others recede, becoming obscured.

A selection from this series is currently available to purchase.
